Borderers

Borderers CD

A new CD has been released by the Kyloe Records, called "Borderers".

This CD is of recordings from the Borders (singers and musicians). All the performers are what might be termed 'traditional' i.e. singers who learnt their songs from family and friends and this is a 'document', rather than a commercial venture.

There are 29 excellent tracks with a playing time of over 73 minutes. The performers include -

  • Cathie Johnson
  • Jock Anderson
  • Kathy Hobkirk
  • Sandy Scott
  • Wattie Beattie
  • Marian Anderson
  • ...and many more

Run by Mike Yates, Kyloe Records is a small folkmusic CD label in Berwick-upon-Tweed. For more information Telephone 01289 304733 or e-mail lokaart@aol.com
